Lending Paws A Hand

Lending Paws A Hand, Inc. (LPAH) is a recognized 501(c)(3) volunteer-ran, non-profit organization that seeks to save the lives of unwanted, at-risk animals in need throughout Lee County, North Carolina. Provide a safe haven for unwanted and unclaimed animals of Lee County and surrounding areas until a proper, loving home can be found. We ensure all of these dogs or cats have been veterinarian examined, have all testing and vaccinations, and spay/neuter provided. Provide assistance with veterinary care and expenses to give financially struggling pet guardians an alternative to pet surrender. Educate about the importance of spaying and neutering and proper and necessary veterinary care. Assist pet owners with missing pets by networking immediately to assist to help locate their pet(s).

Goathouse Refuge

Our goal is to connect every animal with a loving family who wants to share their life with a wonderful feline companion. Typically, 20 – 30 cats are adopted every month from our facility, and since we keep all of our cats up to date on their vaccinations and check-ups and make sure they lead interactive, social lives, adoptions from Goathouse Refuge are easy and effective. Since our founding in 2007, we’ve placed over 2,500 cats into loving, permanent homes.
